What You Need
Here is everything you need to help us create a fantastic highlight video!
Footage
Obtaining Footage
You will need to get your hands on some video. The best ways to do this are to record your athlete yourself or to ask your athletic department for copy of their game tape.

The advantage of filming yourself is that you may have higher quality footage by shooting closer to the action and can use high definition (1080p or 4K is best). Plus, you are focused on your athlete whereas general game film is not.
Quality
It's no secret that higher quality footage produces easier videos to watch. The less a coach is squinting at their screen to see the action, the better.

To obtain high quality footage, consider purchasing a camera with at least 1080p resolution.
If you are unable to buy a new camera, consider using your phone! Most modern smart phones are capable of capturing footage in 4K.
Just make sure the footage is captured in a horizontal orientation and 16:9 resolution is the industry standard for HD video.
Diversity
Coaches are looking for more than just one skill. Be sure to diversify your footage to include your athlete's skills in every category for the sport they play.
Offense, defense, situational awareness, and technical skills are all part of a big picture that will get your athlete on a college team.

We recommend capturing as much footage as you can and then specifying the highlights you want included in your reel. We will examine the footage and include any relevant action before and after the play to ensure coaches see everything they need.
Player Card
The player card is included at the beginning of every video. It will contain a picture of your athlete, their name, jersey number, statistics, position, etc.

To get the best quality from this player card, be sure to have relevant statistics on hand that will make your athlete stand out. We can steer you in the right direction if you need some help!

It will also help to have a high quality photo of the athlete. This could be just a picture of them in their jersey or it could be a still image you captured during a game. Whatever you choose, we will seamlessly blend it into the player card for a professional look.
